GIVING BACK TO THE CYCLING COMMUNITY
Sholom Jaeger
My name is Sholom Jaeger. I currently race as an elite Cat 2. I grew up in LA (Hollywood) and rode my bike to school but that was about it. In high school, I bought my first road bike from a pawn shop for an astronomical $200 😝. I remember being really sore after my first long (35 mile) ride. In 2012, I had what I consider my first real cycling experience. I biked from LA to NY in a month and a half to benefit Friendship Circle, an organization for special-needs children. During that trip, I heard about racing and decided to look into it once the trip was over. I've been racing and training regularly since 2014. I love adventure and outdoors, and cycling has brought that to me. I've done some amazing rides and seen cool and amazing places, thanks to cycling. I am also a competitive guy so I really enjoy racing. Last year was my best year racing. I was on the podium multiple times, won a race and placed 3rd in the local Memorial Weekend Omnium. My next big goal is to become a Cat 1 and race elite nationals. I'm really looking forward to my first year with Methods to Winning Racing Team and having the chance to learn from the best and take my racing to the next level.
